Ward Lane, M.D.

Dr. Lane hails from Coleman county in West Texas. Dr. Lane received his Medical Doctorate from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. Following medical school, he completed a one year internship in internal medicine at the University of Utah and a four year residency in general and vascular surgery at UT Southwestern.
Dr. Lane was a pioneer in laparoscopic surgery. His dedication and ingenuity pushed forward the art of this small incision style surgery during the previous decades. He has expertise in all aspects of abdominal surgery whether laparoscopic or open method is required. Abdominal surgeries include surgery for esophageal
reflux, gallbladder, colon, small intestine, spleen, pancreas, liver, adrenal glands, inguinal and abdominal wall hernias. He is also experienced in surgery for breast and thyroid conditions.

Dr. Lane has extensive experience in vascular surgery as well. He offers surgical procedures for the carotid arteries (neck), abdominal arteries, and arteries of the arms and legs.
